Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how VeganRecipesHub ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on vegan.synflax.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixels. They help sites remember preferences, keep services secure, and — with your permission — understand how the site is used.
On VeganRecipesHub, we primarily use localStorage in your browser to remember your consent choice. Optional analytics run only after you accept them.
2. How we use cookies
We use these technologies for three reasons:
- Strictly necessary. To store whether you have accepted or rejected optional cookies, so we do not ask on every visit.
- Analytics (optional). To understand which pages are visited and which features are useful, in aggregate. We only enable this if you choose "Accept all" on our consent banner.
- Third-party cookies via affiliate links. If you leave our Site by clicking an affiliate link, the destination or its advertising network may set its own cookies. Those are governed by the third party's policy, not ours.
3. Cookies and storage we set
Strictly necessary
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
consent.v1 | localStorage | Remembers your cookie choice (analytics accepted or rejected) and when you made it. | Until you clear site data or reset your choice |
This storage is required for the consent mechanism to work. It does not itself track your browsing across other websites.
Analytics (optional — only with consent)
| Name / category | Type | Purpose | When set |
|---|---|---|---|
| Site analytics | Scripts / events (may use cookies or similar storage) | Counts visits and interactions (for example page views and form events) so we can improve content and the signup experience. Events are not used without your consent. | Only after you accept optional analytics |
If you choose "Reject non-essential," we will not run optional analytics. Essential site functions and your consent preference still work.
4. Your choices
Consent banner
On your first visit (or after you reset your choice), we show a banner where you can:
- Accept all — allow essential storage and optional analytics.
- Reject non-essential — allow only essential storage; no optional analytics.
Change your mind
You can clear your stored preference and see the banner again. This removes consent.v1 from localStorage and reloads the page:
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear localStorage. Doing so may reset your consent choice and cause the banner to reappear. Controls vary by browser; check your browser's help pages for "cookies" or "site data."
5. Third-party and affiliate cookies
When you follow an affiliate link from the Site (for example a cookbook offer), the partner or their network may place cookies to attribute the referral and operate their checkout. We do not control those cookies. Review the partner's privacy and cookie notices before purchasing.
Our hosting and content-delivery providers may process technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) as part of delivering the Site securely. That processing is described further in our Privacy Policy.
6. Do Not Track
There is no single industry standard for responding to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We honor the choice you make through our consent banner and the reset control on this page.
7. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices or the technologies we use change. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
